In 1977, this Carrera was sold to its first owner from a Nordic country. In 2008, the car was sold to the manager of the Centre Porsche Montélimar (France), and Porsche brand ambassador. Under his ownership, the car underwent a total restoration at Porsche Montélimar. In 2012, the car was sold to a collector from Paris, who kept it until today.
In 2023 and 2024, the Carrera 2.7 MFI was extensively serviced, with supporting invoices amounting to EUR 23’000. The engine was rebuilt in 2024 by a classic Porsche specialist. The Fuchs rims were also restored, and fitted with new Pirelli P6000 tyres. Engine compression and leak down tests were recently performed at Porsche Classic Center Geneva, with excellent results.
The sale includes the Porsche on-board folder, toolkit, tire inflator, space saver spare, driver’s manual, cancelled French registration, Porsche Certificate, and a copy of Ryan Snodgrass limited edition Carrera 2.7 book.
Remarkably restored inside and out, with the very special 911 chassis number and color combination, and Concours d’Elegance winner, this Carrera 2.7 MFI is a rare find anywhere in the world, with its high-output, Euro-spec, fuel-injected engine.
